Terms of Service

The agreement, in plain English.

These terms apply when you buy or use Cheat Code (the "Product"). By purchasing, you agree to them. We've kept the legalese to the minimum required.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who you're buying from

Cheat Code is sold by Max Lamprell (the "Seller", "we", "us"), a UK-based sole trader operating at maxlamprell.com and cheatcde.com. For any questions, email hello@cheatcde.com.

2. What you're buying

Cheat Code is a digital downloadable product. It contains brand-configuration templates, workflow prompts, setup walkthroughs, and (in the Full tier) ten modular employee documents, designed to be used inside Anthropic's Claude (an AI assistant) on your own account.

You're buying:

The Product is not a service. We don't run anything on your behalf. You install it on your own Claude workspace and use it yourself.

3. Payment + delivery

Payment is processed by our payment partner Paddle (paddle.com), who acts as our merchant of record. Prices are shown in your local currency where supported; the base currency is GBP.

After successful payment you receive an email with a secure download link, normally within minutes. If the download doesn't arrive within 30 minutes, check your spam folder, then email hello@cheatcde.com.

4. Your licence (what you can and can't do)

5. Updates

The Product ships with lifetime updates. When we release new versions, registered buyers receive an email with a fresh download link via the members area. We make no guarantee about the form, frequency, or specific contents of future updates. We may discontinue updates at our discretion with reasonable notice.

6. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. Limitation of liability

The Product is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce specific business outcomes. AI systems are imperfect. Output quality depends on how you use the Product, your Claude account, your brand configuration, and factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses (lost profits, lost data, lost time).

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

8. Intellectual property

All Product files, templates, prompts, and documentation are the intellectual property of Max Lamprell. Your purchase grants you the licence described in Section 4. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying IP.

9. Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend access to updates and the members area if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms (e.g. by reselling the Product). We will give you notice and an opportunity to correct the issue before suspending access.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified to registered buyers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Product after that period constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless a different court is required by your local consumer protection law.
