What we collect, why, and your rights.

We collect the minimum data needed to sell you the Product, deliver it, and keep you updated. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't sell it. This is how it works.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to data collected by Max Lamprell ("the Seller", "we", "us") at maxlamprell.com and cheatcde.com. For privacy questions, email hello@cheatcde.com.

2. What data we collect

When you visit our site:

IP address, browser type, referring page, time of visit (server log)
Basic analytics: pages viewed, time on site, anonymised behaviour (via Vercel Web Analytics; no cookies, no personal identifiers)

When you buy from us:

Your name and email address
Payment information (collected and processed by Paddle, our payment partner; we never see your card details)
Billing country (for tax/VAT purposes)
Order history (what you bought and when)

When you email us:

The content of your message and your email address, retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry

3. Why we collect it

To sell you the Product — process payment, deliver downloads, generate receipts
To support you — reply to your questions, refund you if requested
To send you updates — when the Product is updated, you get an email with a new download link (you can opt out anytime)
To improve the Product — anonymised analytics tell us which pages help buyers convert
Legal compliance — tax records, fraud prevention

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with the third parties we use to run the business:

Paddle — payment processing and tax handling (your card details, billing address). Paddle's privacy policy: paddle.com/legal/privacy
Google Workspace — email hosting (the contents of any emails between us). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Vercel — website hosting (server logs, basic analytics). Vercel's privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
Cloudflare — DNS and domain management (no personal data shared beyond technical metadata)

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run third-party tracking pixels or social-media trackers on our site.

5. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary for the site to work (e.g. remembering preferences). We don't use advertising cookies. If we add a Meta Pixel or similar for ad tracking in the future, we'll update this policy and ask consent first.

6. How long we keep data

Order records: 7 years (UK tax requirement)
Customer email + name: as long as you're an active buyer or have opted in to updates
Email correspondence: 2 years after the last reply
Server logs: 30 days

7. Your rights (GDPR + CCPA + general)

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct it if it's wrong
Delete it (subject to our legal retention obligations)
Export it in a standard format
Opt out of marketing emails (any update email has an unsubscribe link)
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (UK: the ICO at ico.org.uk; EU: your national DPA)

8. Children

The Product is for adults running businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. International transfers

Some of our processors (Paddle, Vercel, Cloudflare) may process data outside your country. They are bound by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) under UK GDPR.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified to registered buyers by email.
